INTERNATIONAL GREEN APPLE AWARDS FOR ENVIRONMENTAL BEST PRACTICE 2023
PROJECT:Green Retrofit Calculator Version 1
We introduced a new Green Apple Environment Award last year – ‘Commended’.
Our Commended winners have won not quite enough points for a Gold, Silver or Bronze trophy, but the judges thought their entries deserved some recognition and encouragement to continue with their environmental endeavours.
For instance, some of our Commended winners’ projects are in their infancy, making it difficult for the judges to mark them on actual achieved outcomes. Others contain an element of environmental effort, but operate on a wider level and would probably stand a greater chance of success in our Corporate Social Responsibility Awards. Many factors come into play.
The reason I am giving you this background information is because your entry has been chosen for a Commended Award. Congratulations!
We do not normally announce who has won what until the presentation ceremony itself, but since this is a new award and comes in the form of a certificate, rather than a trophy, we thought it only fair to make you aware of this before you decide whether to join us for the prestigious awards ceremony in The Houses of Parliament, Palace of Westminster, London on Monday, November 20, 2023.
Your Commended certificate will be emailed to you after the event, free of charge.
